Brand-Name Amicar® No Longer Available

Akorn Pharmaceuticals, manufacturer of Amicar® (aminocaproic acid) in both liquid and tablet form, filed for bankruptcy and has closed their doors. Inventory of brand-name Amicar is no longer available.
Red Chip’s Operations Manager, Jessica Tront, has confirmed that generic
aminocaproic acid is still available at 340B pricing from distributors such as
Cardinal Health. Please check with Jessica to see if your HTC has established a Cardinal account in order to purchase the generic brands.
