April 2021 – We’re pleased to announce as of April 1, 2021 Red Chip Pharmacy was added to Alexion Pharmaceutical’s Specialty Pharmacy Network.
Similar to the way pharmaceuticals are currently handled for your 340B program, RCE is now eligible as a “ship to” location when you prescribe Alexion products Soliris® (eculizumab) and Ultomiris® (ravulizumab-cwvz) for your patients. Both products are indicated for the treatment of paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) in adults.
If you already have patients who use Soliris or Ultomiris and believe they would be good candidates for your 340B program, please contact us and provide their insurance to see if we can obtain a prior authorization from their payer.
Following program protocols, any newly diagnosed patients would need to be registered with Alexion’s REMS program prior to a prescription being approved.
